Alder & Oak is a wood-fired Aegean and Mediterranean restaurant in Jacksonville's Brooklyn neighborhood, inside HUB Brooklyn at 400 Riverside Avenue. Every dish is cooked without seed oils — only Iliada extra virgin olive oil from Kalamata, Greece, and grass-fed beef tallow.     Excellent service; all 4 guests totally enjoyed their salmon, scallops, vegetarian and roast chicken entree’s. All perfectly cooked and delicious. Great cocktails and wine selections. Highly recommended!

    The food was amazing. We had the fried green tomatoes and pork chop. Very delicious. The service and atmosphere were also great. We will be back the next time we come to Amelia.

    Such a great way to celebrate the Jags win. Incredible dinner, service was outstanding and the walk ability from stadium to restaurant was perfect. We pre ordered the Tomahawk, highly recommend!!! 🔥

    Alder and Oak offers a good variety of Mediterranean dishes. My husband ordered the Moussaka, and I had the Lamb Shank. Both were delicious. Our server couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
