We pride ourselves in being one of the top steakhouses in the Hudson Valley, we age our meat in house, and get fresh seafood straight from NYC twice a week and have a great selection of craft beer and an extensive wine list. PLEASE NOTE reservations are required on weekends and holidays. We do require a credit card when booking for groups 5 and larger.Our seasonal outdoor dining is now open. We recommend bringing a sweater for the evenings in the Catskills tend to get a little cool and we do not always have the ability to move folks inside on weekends. Please let us know your seating preference when making your reservation, we will do our best to try and accommodate you.We do not allow pets.

The Hoffman House restaurant, in the scenic Hudson Valley, opened for business in June of 1977. The building is a fine example of Early American Dutch rubble architecture featuring wide planked random width board floors, a fire place in each of the main rooms and many small multi-level rooms.The Hoffman House is located at the corner of the historic Stockade district in Kingston NY, and once served as fortification and a lookout. We loved everything about here. Every menu item seemed so carefully thought out. The butter that comes with the bread. The homemade whipped cream on the dessert. Delicious!! People should start coming here when they visit the area

We always enjoy eating at the Catamount when we vacation at the Catskills. The restaurant is a beautiful rustic style, and the food & drinks are always excellent.
