Wir sind eine Taqueria - was eine Pizzeria zu Pizza ist, sind wir zu Tacos – die wohl allerklassischste Speise Mexikos... Das Konzept ist sehr simple. Unsere Menükarte besteht aus alles was man in einer Taqueria in Mexiko oder in Südkalifornien finden würde: Tacos, Taquitos, Burritos, Quesadillas, aber auch Suppe, Salat und ein paar lässige Vorspeisen.Gutes mexikanisches Essen erfordert gute Zutaten. Wir durchsuchten den Kontinent und fanden schliesslich die besten nixtamalisierte Maistortillas, die wir kaufen konnten. Wir importieren frische Jalapenos. Wir verwenden 100% frische Avocados für unsere Guacamole. Wir machen unsere Aguas Frescas und scharfe Saucen im Hause. Wir frittieren unsere eigenen Tortilla-Chips täglich. Wir haben sogar die grösste Auswahl an importierten mexikanischen Softdrinks und Bieren in der Schweiz! Zudem bieten wir jeden Monat eine mexikanische Spezialität an.

Bis 1996 wurden hier noch von Hand Stahl-Armaturen gegossen. Ab 1997 illegale Parties gefeiert und 1999 begann die offizielle Geschichte der Giesserei Oerlikon, wie wir sie heute kennen: Ein innovativer Gastronomiebetrieb mit einzigartigem postindustriellem Charme.
