The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled.     First time at the restaurant after reading so many positive comments. It's definitely worth every penny. Excellent place to dine with friends or family. Great environment, excellent food and drinks. I am definitely returning and would 100% recommend.

    Great welcome. Easy parking. Service a little slow but we got there in the end. Nobody asked if we wanted more drinks. Nobody checked in on us once our server had finished his shift. We were abruptly told the pub closes in 10 mins and rushed out. A slightly longer notice would have been l appropriate. Blue light card no longer accepted. Website still under maintenance. Little frustrating experience but the food was good with excellent portion size.

    Went in to have some food and watch the American Football. Was a really good atmosphere, and wasn’t what I was expecting. Recently moved to the Uxbridge area so this is defo a great pub for me to go to from now on. Has lots of TVs so great for anyone wanting to watch the sport!
