Great choice and the Vegetarian Sunday Lunch was gorgeous. Lovely cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff

We meet up 2 or 3 times a year here, with Scottish friends and every time we all enjoy all it hss to offer. That's why I give it 5 stars for everything but, you knew there'd be a but, just a word to the wise: half of our party opted for the pheasant dish but on ordering were told none today. Obviously the disappointment this causes could so easily have been avoided - just run a pen through that option on your menu, how difficult is that? Not to put too fine a point on this, having to go through the menu again to opt for second choice while the waitress has pen and pad waiting, is just a waste of all our time. So, yes 5 stars all round BUT....

We are becoming regulars here, regardless of which staff members are on shift, everything from the moment you walk through the door is perfect, great food, great service, great atmosphere, just a brilliant little pub

As ever, excellent food and excellent customer service. Love the ambience here. No pressure and relaxed whilst being attentive. I travel over an hour to get here and have introduced friends, who themselves have returned and spread the love! What a marvellous place. Whiskey gift shop (and other goodies) a must and staff in the gift shop so helpful and full of advice. Thank you.
