We were seated right away. Our server came over immediately and bread was brought out with our drinks. Food was quick and delicious and the restaurant was very busy. One of our favorite restaurants so we will be back!

We had an extraordinarily good meal at 80 Thoreau. Even better than the one we had about 2 months ago. My wife started with an "How about them apples" cocktail, and I had a pale ale, then she had beet salad while I got duck mousse [I don't understand why they don't call it pate] which was about out of this world. Then she had paccheri pasta, and I had sea bass. We finished up with Chocolate Creameax. This was one of the best meals I have had in a long, long time.

Knowing their nearby cheese and more shop, Eve & Murray’s, my expectations were high… they were exceeded in a HUGE way. We got both breads, but the popover (being more unique) was our favorite. The herbed nuts and cheese charcuterie were exceptional. We each ordered a Lightbringer cocktail, then reordered a second round before our walk home. The dessert was also unique, great chocolate chip cookies alongside a sipped or dunked-into liquor. My ONLY complaint is no decaf coffee “yet” (I was told). Decor was very nicely designed. Someday soon they will add a brunch.

Good food and love the rotating monthly specials. We were seated on the speakeasy, which at first felt odd as we were the only ones there, but was great as a few more tables were seated there and it was not as crowded or bustling as the main dining room. But with that said, the service was still just as attentive and we never found ourselves searching for our server.

My boyfriend and I always have an incredible experience whenever we come to dine here. I didn’t realize that if I let them know when reserving a table, it was a date night, you get a special table! We ended up sitting in two comfy chairs with a table off to the side. They make it a little more romantic for you. The food is always good, the servers always so lovely and the atmosphere very warm and welcoming. Absolutely recommend coming here, you will not be disappointed!
