Located in University City, Louie Louie is an American bistro with a French inspired menu offering seasonal, ingredient-inspired dishes based on a classical combination of flavors. House-made pastries and an extensive beverage program highlighting wines by the glass and bottle as well as seasonal specialty cocktails and craft beers add to the dining experience. The décor pays homage to Art Nouveau and European cafes with a touch of the 1970s.     Great for a game night. Efficient, prompt, pleasant service of well-prepared bar food. A great overall dining experience. ( less hectic than Stateside Live) ...and the Sixers won!

    In our party of 4, only I had been to Louie Louie before. We were dazzled! We started with oysters on the half shell, roasted bone marrow (exceptional) and steak tartare. Mains were all delicious and well presented: Flounder Françsise, Verlasso salmon, moules frites and Mediterranean bronzino. Desserts were Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée and cookies and cream trifle. A splendid meal!
