    The thanksgiving special was amazing. Perfectly cooked turkey with squash and mashed potatoes were a wonderful mix of flavors. I wasn’t a fan of the green tea which had a strange aftertaste but the deserts hit the spot!

    Our favorite restaurant in Utah, or anywhere for that matter! The food, atmosphere, staff and experience are like something that you rarely experience. The prices are justified and reasonable. We usually reserve this as our special occasion go to, but I think that’s going to change with the opening of the new, closer location. PS: Thanks for everything last night, our engagement dinner memories will forever be tied to this restaurant and the very special staff! Thanks again, and here’s to many anniversary dinner celebrations there!!! 🙏🏼😘

    Hands down one of the best settings for a nice dinner. Dress up,Dress down,Date night or gather as Friends and Family. Appetizers were on point, main dishes were tasty and the owner was there all night. We got to chat with her and get to know her even better by the end of the night. I recommend this place 5 stars and would suggest the egg rolls, chicken, salmon and the specials of the day- We will be back Kimi and crew-

    On our anniversary, I reserved a table for two and ordered flowers be sent to Kimi's. When we arrived, thevase was waiting at our table in a relatively secluded corner. From the receptionist to our server, and the owner of the restaurant, Kimi herself, everyone greeted us, made helpful suggestions and congratulated my wife and me on our anniversary. We couldn't have felt more welcomed and special. We ordered cerviche, mushroom soup (to die for), and the pork chop, too large not to be shared, and finished with the salty caramel cheesecake (another blissful dish). Every one of the dishes evoked moans of pleasure from us as the tastes landed on our tongues. This experience will be remembered beyond next year, when we will return to taste the other offerings, which made choosing from the menu for this meal, so difficult. Without any hesitation I would recommend Kimi's Chop & Oyster House, for both special occasions and whem you just want to eatsomething uniquely delicious.

    We eat here 3-4 times a year, for "special occasions" (loosely defined). The food is always excellent, as is the service. I wouldn't call the cuisine adventurous or novel, but it's excellent on what it offers, which is easily seen on the online menu at their website. There are usually specials not on the menu. Seared scallops is one I watch for and enjoy immensely. My partner is more of a steak person, and Kimi does the steak fries and fillet mignon to perfection.

    We live in northern California, but when we come to Salt Lake, we always try to eat here. The food is great and the space is beautiful. Sadly, they have to move because of all the absurd construction going on in the area. They won’t be far from their current location fortunately so we will definitely go there. Once that move is complete. Highly recommend!

    We love Kimi’s! Our food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant ambiance is so great. I had the pork chop and my wife had the fried chicken- both were really wonderful. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience here and will be back in the near future.

    Kimi’s Chip & Oyster House was good. The one part of our meal that we enjoyed the most were the Love Shack and Virginia oysters. They were very good. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner even stopped by our table.

    What a night! I took my family out for my birthday and wanted it to be something we'd talk about for ages--we got exactly that. Jeremy was wonderful, the food was next level and the atmosphere was great. With 3 restaurant owners in tow and the other 3 with excellent pallets, we're a tough crowd! All 6 of us would, and will, come back time and again.

    Unfortunately, Kimi's is in a construction zone; do not let this deter you from enjoying a wonderful evening. I started with an old standby, the mushroom soup. It was so wonderful I seriously considered having it again for dessert. The pork chop is another favorite, and it was better than memory. The fruit sauce is not cloying and complements the medium-cooked pork perfectly. The roasted potato side and the vegetable medley were superior versions of what I was expecting, genuinely rounding out the dish. Others in our party enjoyed the Caprese salad and my wife had the crab cakes, which were very flavorful. Everyone had the mushroom soup as either a starter or a main.
