   Small menu, but good choices. Great location and interesting place! Server was very attentive. Soup was great, cream of leek. I highly recommend it if on the menu.

   The atmosphere was very quiet. The food was really good. The service was ok, they seemed very relaxed not overly enthusiastic. Everyone in my part enjoyed their meals and the price was not bad for the quality of the food. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to dine with friends or family.

   Crab cake and carrot soup were excellent. Fish and short rib were good and would eat again. Biggest misses we’re not prepping Brussels by cutting stalks as this makes them hard to eat. Service wasn’t bad, just seemed slower than expected. I believe she had two tables on opposite sides of the restaurant.

   While viewing the pics on line and seeing the eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles it lead me to believe these plates could be ordered during brunch time. This is very misleading since all that is offered is a $69 per person brunch I was very disappointed The site pictures need to be removed since waitress says the pics are outdated

   Excellent cocktails and food. Snapper special and potato soup of the day were both delicious. Fries and filet mignon were perfect as well. Dining room has the ambiance of a hotel restaurant, but food and service were very good. A nice place to take my BSC student out for dinner.

   The lobster was modestly "slimy-ish," a tad undercooked. The chocolate cake was absolutely uninspired and all together an offense to a Valentine's Day palate. The apple tart, eaten by my companion -- I'll express it this manner -- Pepperidge Farm has a frozen tart that delights and dances in ways that the Habitat tart would tips its hat, saying "you're the better taste." Kudos, I must offer, however. For courses one and two along with the Veuve Clicquot Brut, "well done," I say! As "repeat" remains part of my once athletic self, it shan't be the discourse spoken for our next VDay!

    I heard good things about the food at Habitat Feed and Social. I must say the meal was incredible. I got the filet, and it was incredible. I made reservations a few days prior and was pleased with the process. The service varied. The valet was wonderful. The hostess was just okay (maybe she was having a bad day, so grace should always be given) and the waiter was very good. The restaurant seemed to have a cool vibe. There were several different areas to sit. With our reservations, we were set in rather uncomfortable seating right next to the bar. The restaurant was by no means full, so to place us where they did was disappointing. I would definitely eat there again. However, I would ask to be seated somewhere else.

    Food was mediocre for the price. Only thing me and my girlfriend could agree on was the drinks was the only thing worth the price. They changed the menu up so much that it messed up the entire service and quality of the food.

    Food was disappointing. I have eaten here years ago and the quality of the dishes have gone downhill. We got the scallops for our appetizers which were not cooked through and the short ribs for our meal which was definitely not worth the price tag. Overall very disappointed, however the hotel itself was lovely. Also, the live music was great.

    Christmas night dinner. We came in with a group of nine on Christmas night. The staff were all so friendly! The service was excellent. We were visited by the manager multiple times to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. The drinks and food were great. The decor and tables were clean, modern and comfortable. Perfect hotel and restaurant! Thank you!

    I attended Christmas Day dinner. The food was ordinary for the price of $99 per person. We had difficulty getting the bottle of wine we wanted due to no availability. Poor selection of white wines. Our service was slow but Stephanie made our experience memorable and fun. We had attended Thanksgiving dinner in November with an excellent experience with superior food and decided to return for Christmas. I probably will think twice about returning for next Christmas.

    What a disappointing experience. The experience was definitely not what I expected. I made reservations for my year end business luncheon. I am sorry I did that. The service was not very good at all and I could have gotten a better lunch at a chain restaurant. I stayed at one of your properties in Asheville, NC and was very pleased. I expected more in Mountain Brook, Al!

    Be aware they do not serve Brunch on Saturdays. Open Table said they did and made a reservation for us. The hostes was surprised by this as they only have the crappy hotel breakfast buffett on Saturdays and don't even take reservations. Embarrassing situation, had to wait in line at another place that served bruch because we didn't have a reservation!

    The service was slow and my butternut squash soup was good but wasn't hot enough, like it had been sitting around too long before it was brought to the table.

    Anniversary with my wife, our waiter Jaime was absolutely awesome! Very welcoming and even greeted us saying “Happy anniversary” which made my wife quite happy because it was a surprise dinner for her. So I really appreciated that the waiter took the time to remember my notes for the reservation.

    Overall it was a good time, not sure it lived up to the price tag though. There was one group that had a child with their iPad up all the way that made it difficult to enjoy the dinner. I had the shrimp and grits which were very bland and almost no conecuh sausage (one of my favorite parts). My husband had the filet mignon, which was extremely tender, but slightly over cooked. The mashed potatoes were amazing though and their bar drinks were made to perfection. All in all, I think it's a good place to go for drinks, but will not be going back for dinner.

    Unfortunately this restaurant has really gone down hill. We’ve visited most every time we stay in Birmingham. Both the hotel and restaurant need improvements from staffing to the facilities. The food was not even edible. We got the chicken caesar and the burger - not tough dishes to execute. Hoping they come under new management and can make the must needed improvements.

    Worst place ever. Food delivered sporadically, some of it barely warm, dessert brought out at different times (20 minutes difference ) and server non-attentive. After complaining, they did adjust our bill but for a birthday celebration, it was the worst!

    While the decor of the place is very fun, we unfortunately had a poor experience. We waited over an hour for a cup of soup, two sides and a few desserts. They forgot my coffee and we rarely saw our waiter. The restaurant was not crowded. Saw a fire happen in the kitchen. They comped two desserts and a side and we were thankful for that, but overall would not recommend.

    Pricey! Our steaks were not cooked to perfection and the sides were luke-warm - at best. The waitress and manager were top-notch though and compensated us for the long wait with a dessert on the house.

    The service was great. Ordered fresh grouper that came tough and stringy. My wife could not eat. Asked for a substitution for mashed potatoes to augratin potatoes and pay the extra charge. Could not leave the mashed off the plate because of "quality control".

    Hard to beat when the weather is nice and sitting outdoors on the rooftop. Great food, service, atmosphere. Parking is easy The truffle flatbread, and snapper were well prepared. The top current drink (or the one they sell the most) is “the cozy “

    Mediocre. Not bad, but nothing worth going back for either. Fried brussel sprouts - again just kinda meh... The sautéed fish was fine. But who returns to a restaurant for something when it's just "fine", when there are so many other interesting restaurants. Drinks were good. Ambiance was excellent. Food... not the best.
