You will ALWAYS be treated well at Paolo’s . The servers could not be more engaging and friendly if you adore Italian food, this restaurant will be on your permanent list. There is a new owner there since the founder retired; he’s very kind and very devoted to the customers!

The food is exceptional! We ordered the fixe pre meal which I think had 7 or 8 courses. Everything was perfect! I would go back again and order à la carte so I can try their other dishes. Even though there were so many courses, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t feel “stuffed” and grotesque from over eating. Service was above excellent. The only question I had was the explanation of the mandatory 22% service charge that went to the management. We tipped the waiter beyond this service charge. I hope the restaurant is paying the staff a living wage from the service charge.

The food and service were great! Our server gave suggestions for her favorites and definitely hit the nail on the head. Easy walk from the waterfront. I will be coming back next time I’m in town!

Enjoyed the Jalapeno Pepper steak starter. Plenty for two to share. Great sauce. Appetizer was simple but really good. I had the Philly steak sandwich which was yummy.

Had the mussels, bruschetta and steak frites, all very good. Waiters were attentive and overall was a great experience.
