Alex Prime is a luxury New York-style steakhouse in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas at the historic El Cortez Hotel & Casino. USDA Prime cuts anchor the menu alongside slow-roasted prime rib, chef-driven seafood, Italian-rooted pasta and showstopping desserts. The wine list highlights New World varietals, paired with a cocktail program that balances steakhouse classics like martinis and old fashioneds with signature creations rooted in El Cortez lore. A top-notch front-of-house team brings polished service to a dining room that seats more than 150 guests amid emerald-green banquettes, cognac leather and gold detailing. Established in 1941, El Cortez’s early owners included mobsters Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel and Meyer Lansky, and it later became a hang for the Rat Pack. Complimentary valet parking is steps away. Open daily from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
