Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis. Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have a full vegetarian and vegan menu with gluten-free options. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday-Thursday from 11am to 11pm for indoor dining and bar. Thursday has all day Happy Hour along with Trivia at 8pm. Late night eats until Midnight on Friday and Saturday.     My friend and I made a reservation here for her birthday. I have been to the Melting pot before, and we have gone before to the Madison WI location. I had always felt rushed and felt the portions were small, but this time was better. We went on a Tuesday night which was a lot quieter than a weekend reservation. We were given extra veggies when we asked for it and we were left alone to enjoy our time without feeling rushed. I always feel this place is about the experience as well as the food and don't like to be rushed. Our waiter was awesome and our experience was great. I was also able to get chocolate covered strawberries for my friend for her birthday. Thank you what a great treat! Thank you for treating us like queens. We will be back!
