The former manor house, is set back from the road in acres of grounds surrounded by beautiful Norfolk countryside. Our Restaurant offers a traditional bar and large garden area. Our Head Chef's seasonal menu draws on the rich Norfolk larder of produce, much of it sourced on the doorstep, like Brancaster molluscs and local farm reared meats. During the summer holidays the outside bar and kitchen is in full swing from noon 'til late. The pub warmly welcomes families and children have their own menu and the safe, enclosed garden and play area is perfect for youngsters to let off steam. A proper family pub which holds an AA rosette for its excellent menu. With a great range of ales and wines to wet your whistle after a long coastal walk and great team of chefs to appease your appetite.Well behaved dogs on a lead very welcome.We do our very best to seat guests at their preferred tables or in requested areas. Lovely lunch, as always, friendly service, as always. Arrived an hour earlier than our booking but team still found us a table. Pizzas delicious, amazingly thin crusts, perfect. Kippers also excellent. Always a treat to visit. Thank you.

Excellent Roast Dinner. Great portion of vegetables for a change. Lots of other pubs seem to skimp on veg! They had a trio of meats roast dinner on the special board. I had a duo of meats which were very tasty.

Met friends for an evening meal, as always, the service was exemplary, the food perfect which made the whole experience great. Not had anything but first class service here every time we visit

Lovely choice of breakfast and tasty, well-cooked food very good portion sizes! Excellent customer service, especially at breakfast! Exceptional, friendly staff! Evening meal was very good and fairly priced. Did not find the waiting staff as helpful or friendly however.
