August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and Spain.August is open for dinner from 5pm on Thursday - Saturday, and from 11:30am for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Our server Cedric was very attentive and provided great service. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. The vegetables were lovely and overall the meals were delicious.

We couldn’t fault the service. Everyone was made to feel special, and our glasses were always kept topped up. The food was impeccable; however, we did feel there could have been a little more savoury food, such as finger sandwiches, as two plates of sweets felt like a little too much. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend treating yourself to the ‘High Tea’. A lovely experience from start to finish!
