First time there and we went for our 5yr Anniversary. To be honest, given this is like the 3rd or 4th restaurant to be in this location and given the exterior of the building is quite bland I didn't have high hopes for a good experience. However, I have to say... as soon as we walked in we were impressed. The ambiance is really a cool vibe. The drink options are fantastic and the menu options were great. We had the crab cakes, caesar salad, parm chix and truffle fries. All great choices! They even put rose pedals on our table for our anniversary and offered a free desert that came out with a sparkler and they took a Polaroid picture of us. Really impressed and we're actually looking forward to going back with friends. Only thing that surprised us a bit was the tip (18%) was automatically added to the bill even with just 2 of us. I just find it odd given is TIP is just that... a TIP. Not a guaranteed wage. If that is the case then pay your people more. I like to choose my tip. In this case they missed out as I would likely have tipped 25% for the great service. Something to think about.

If you are near the Mall of America and enjoy farm to table dining, Cedar and Stone is the place to go. Jaden, my server, did an excellent job explaining the menu and how the micro garden is used in cooking. He provided draft beer samples which helped me decide. I enjoyed the Revol Farm Salad with Chicken. The salad was enough for two people to share, fresh greens and a tasty vinaigrette. The side of Fingerling Potatoes was perfectly seasoned to my liking. This dish was ample as I got a Go Box for it. The next time I am in the Twin Cities, I will be back.
