Nicely appointed establishment. The food and drinks were nice. Some portions were a bit small for the price, but still very tasty. Friendly staff. A wonderful date night environment

The service I received in the dining room was excellent. Scott was knowledgeable about the menu and never rushed us. He was attentive throughout our meal and refilled out beverages regularly. The food was attractively presented and everything tasted delicious. We appreciated the restaurant verbally acknowledging our wedding anniversary and providing a complimentary small dessert.

I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience dining at Sassafras is. We had our second visit for lunch service, traveling from Westminster Maryland, and it was as exceptional as our first visit in late March. Each course is beautifully presented and delicious. Chef Paul is clearly passionate about his craft and is friendly and engaging, answering questions and sharing insights throughout service. Every detail is carefully thought out, from the welcome to the thank you at the end of service. We are already planning our next visit and hope that you do too!

Best crab cakes I have ever had, and service was outstanding!

B-Side was a great vide. Chill with great music. The bartending staff was really nice and made great drinks. Would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back!
