- DDesireeMelbourne •2 recensioni5,0Visitato il giorno 24 ott 2026Exceptional service and plenty of food! I took my mum there for her birthday and it was an overall wonderful experience! A special shout-out to Jennifer who was so warm and welcoming, recommended great tea pairings and made sure we were well looked after! The high tea had a great variety of warm and cold savoury bites and desserts! The Green tea sphere dessert was my favourite! Yum! The lobster roll filling was also delicious, although the roll itself was a bit dry. The ambience was lovely and quiet and sitting by the windows was a nice touch despite some of the view being obstructed by buildings. Overall, great value for money, with SO much food! Pace yourself, because you'll definitely leave full! Loved that we could take home the scones that we couldn't finish, too! Highly recommend the Pan Pacific High Tea! We'll definitely be back!Più informazioniHigh Tea at Pan Pacific Melbourne$$$$• Tè del pomeriggio• South Wharf•3,8

I was wrong to expect as such. The food was exceptional: cooked perfectly, presented well, and incredibly delicious, the quality I'd expect from a renowned restaurant on nearby Lygon Street. We'd ordered the calamari, carbonara, and baked gnocchi. Calamari were great quality and cooked well, so not rubbery. Interesting choice to pair with rocket, and the sauce it came with was lighter in quantity than I'd hoped, but still very nice. The carbonara was excellent; al dente fettuccine, creamy sauce and quality pancetta with nothing in there that shouldn't have been. The baked gnocchi was also fantastic; baked just right to allow a little char without burning, and soft enough to allow them to hold the sauce which itself was delicious. Initially we weren't going to get dessert, feeling we had a better option with the Brunetti popup also featured in tandem with the Rome exhibition, but after the satisfaction with lunch we went with a scoop of pistachio gelato. Right off the bat, it wasn't that neon/bright green one often gets so that was a good sign. Gelato was perfect. Everything was also priced reasonably and portion sizes were good. Our waitress was welcoming, quick when it came to service, and checked in on us regularly (I noticed her rounding the corner to see how we were doing!) so we were well taken care of. The restaurant is in a good, non imposing spot, very clean and comfortable. Couldn't ask for anything more to be honest.Più informazioniMercury at Melbourne Museum$$$$• Australiana moderna• Carlton•4,3
