Really great afternoon tea, it was a Christmas present from last year. We had a super glass of champagne to start with. They have us a lovely gap just to enjoy the drink and ambience of the restaurant. The selection of sandwiches were nice, there was a lovely sausage roll which was yummy. Great selection of mini cakes and beautiful fresh scones. Very generous jam and clotted cream, we were both well and truly full. The staff were really great plus it was quite quiet so very enjoyable. A lovely pub with good food and well kept beer including Uley. Very good efficient friendly service and delicious food- particularly the lamb shank with cavalo nero and carrots. The belly pork also had good flavour but could have been less chewy. As I am allergic to potatoes it would be good if the menu had a carb that was not a potatoes.

A very nice restaurant, very clean, nice atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our reserved table very quickly, a short wait after ordering but the quality of the food made it very worthwhile. The menu is quite extensive catering for main meals or light lunches, the food is of a very high standard, fresh vegetables and local butchers meats. Very good lunch, would definitely recommend.

My son went with 2 friends all 16 years old. Had a lovely time. Fabulous food, service and all looked after very well.
