Porzana remains one of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis and a place I frequently visit for business dinners. This time, though, I brought my wife for a date night, and it reminded me why I continue to recommend it. The food was excellent. The salmon aguachile was bright, fresh, and one of the standout dishes of the evening. The oysters with uni and bone marrow are always a must-order and were as good as ever. The only miss was the steak. It first arrived overcooked, and the replacement came back significantly undercooked. To their credit, the staff handled the situation professionally, immediately acknowledged the issue, and comped the steak without hesitation. Service, atmosphere, and overall execution remain top-notch. Even with the steak mishap, Porzana continues to be one of the best dining experiences in the Twin Cities and a restaurant I confidently recommend for both business meals and special occasions.

Excellent Restaurant!!! Beautiful and Attentive Staff there. The steaks and carrot cake are to die for there, too.

My two friends and I visited Union Rooftop for brunch yesterday, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and most importantly, the service from our assigned server, Giovanni, was exceptional. He was attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The only disappointing part of our experience involved another employee who was wearing a green dress. She removed the umbrella from our table and moved it to another table whose guests had just arrived, leaving my friend sitting directly under the hot sun. When we politely asked her not to move it, her response was rude and dismissive. She simply said, “Well, you have to share,” without showing any concern for our comfort. Her customer service skills left much to be desired and did not reflect the level of hospitality we experienced from the rest of the staff. Despite this unfortunate interaction, I am still leaving a 5-star review because I refuse to let one employee overshadow an otherwise excellent experience. The food was fantastic, Giovanni provided outstanding service, and we genuinely enjoyed our brunch. I would gladly return and hope management addresses situations like this in the future.

Excellent selection of steaks, even the seafood (cioppino) was delicious!
