Prominent people from all walks of life have praised the flavours of these homely earthy dishes, given an upgrade and served in a diner setting, since the restaurant was established in 1989. The restaurant provides a high level of service, keeping it friendly enough to comply with customers’ special requests. The diner interior, a modern contemporary space, orange with glass and stainless steel highlights, makes a stylish setting for teppanyaki hotplate grill dishes and okonomiyaki savoury pancakes. The open air terrace, the bar stocked with over one hundred types of cocktails, champagne, wine, shochu and sake, and the large and small private rooms, ensure that the restaurant is able to deal satisfactorily with a wide range of customer requirements. Recently the restaurant has been recommended to many international visitors by local hotel concierges, and in 2008 Jinroku Pacific opened in Waikiki, Hawaii.
