We are a country Gastropub owned by farmers. Our farm supplies the beef, lamb and pork and we source other ingredients from local producers where we can. Our small seasonal menu changes regularly reflecting what is available in our area. We pride ourselves on being very much a country pub, offering freshly prepared seasonal food and a warm welcome. We can recommend the vegan chestnut roast which was delicious. Lovely, characterful old pub in the centre of the village and the service was excellent.

I honesty have to say this was one of the best roast dinners we’ve ever had! I couldn’t have been treated better having the gluten free option. Everything was delicious and cooked brilliantly. Our waitress was delightful and very helpful

We had Sunday oysters and Sunday roast on Sunday 7 June. The lamb was delicious, and the pork belly too. We had cocktails there before and that’s when we fell in love with the place. We will definitely be back!!

Anyone looking for a fantastic old style pub, with great service and outstanding food (we had the Meaty One BBQ Platter) then you need look no further. This is somewhere I will definitely be coming back too.

Super friendly staff and very welcoming for ever including families with small children. Nice range of interesting food that appeals to people with dietary restrictions. Reasonable prices
