Porzana remains one of my favorite restaurants in Minneapolis and a place I frequently visit for business dinners. This time, though, I brought my wife for a date night, and it reminded me why I continue to recommend it. The food was excellent. The salmon aguachile was bright, fresh, and one of the standout dishes of the evening. The oysters with uni and bone marrow are always a must-order and were as good as ever. The only miss was the steak. It first arrived overcooked, and the replacement came back significantly undercooked. To their credit, the staff handled the situation professionally, immediately acknowledged the issue, and comped the steak without hesitation. Service, atmosphere, and overall execution remain top-notch. Even with the steak mishap, Porzana continues to be one of the best dining experiences in the Twin Cities and a restaurant I confidently recommend for both business meals and special occasions.

Came here for a first date, by far my new favorite fine dining in the Twin Cities area. Servers are incredibly knowledgeable, and above and beyond accommodating for helping create first date atmosphere. If you’re looking for the perfect date spot for a special person, I recommend this restaurant highly.
