In season, our highly rated restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily. Breakfasts at the Friar are hearty and healthy. Portions are generous and everything is made from scratch right here at the Black Friar Inn. Open to the public, breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. If you are staying at the Inn, your breakfast is included in the room rate.Each afternoon the Friar's Pub opens at 4 pm for happy hour, offering $6 house wine and drafts (Maine selections always on tap) and the company is fine. Settle in after a day in the park in an old-fashioned British pub atmosphere. A friendly gathering spot named after my grandfather, pepper martin. He loved socializing with friends and family over smoked fish and his own brew. We serve a collection of Maine favorites! Flavorsome, generously portioned food. Natively sourced, and always fresh. Seafood is our specialty. It was pepper's favorite too!
