Amazing food. Worth a visit. Stuffed Peppers, Tuna Poke, Pork Buns, and miso black cod were particularly good! Try the Grosset Chablis!

Everything was fantastic! From the person who seated us and patiently accommodated our indecision about where to sit to our server and the other staff who assisted, we had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and served fresh and hot, in just the right amount of time after we ordered. Our server, Danielle, was so pleasant and attentive from start to finish. Our second round of drinks took a bit long to arrive but the restaurant was busy at that point. Excellent quality of food and drink and portion sizes too. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere, and especially no loud music (that has become a problem at many restaurants). This was our first visit and it won't be our last; we're just sorry we waited so long to try The Buttery.

My first time at the Central Sq. location after many wonderful dinners in Inman Sq. Just as lovely. Food was delicious and service was outstanding.
