Nestled between the iconic CHIN Radio building and The Royal Theatre, Sal's location couldn't be more fitting. The restaurant, named after both Michael Sangregorio and Fabio Bondi's Dads, brings to life a celebration of Italian Canadian cuisine. Both Sals' immigrated to Canada decades ago with little more than a suitcase and a dream. Like many Italian families, they settled along College Street.The new restaurant is a coming home of sorts. Sal's kitchen will showcase dishes that their families grew up eating and celebrating milestones with.

Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond, is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end, and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In the summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. Bar Vendetta distinguishes itself in a space that had previously been a fairly iconic restaurant, The Black Hoof, with a beautiful (and imposing) Douglas fir ‘glass canopy’ and a completely different, 70s colour scheme, modelled (very loosely) on Jen's teen basement bedroom in Scarborough. Nothing says 70s like brown, orange and cream! We didn’t want it to scream ‘Italian restaurant’ because frankly it’s only Italian-ish, using the philosophies of Italian cooking with locally available ingredients and a strong devotion to seasonality. Our pastas all made in house, by long-time chef, Annalisa Latavo and our front of house team is simply a dream! The sort of secret treehouse-feeling back patio is hugely popular in the summer, but we think of it as the perfect restaurant for a colder evening, cozy for tucking into a beautiful plate of pasta, with one of your favourite songs playing while you have a very nice Italian red.
