Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. ARNETTE'S Chop Shop is a modern take on the traditional American steakhouse and features a contemporary, chef-driven menu, extensive wine list and a well-curated craft cocktail program. The restaurant’s interior was created to compliment the industrial modern design movement, exposing the natural character of the reclaimed warehouse while blending vintage, classic and modern design influences.The restaurant is split into two levels. The dining room is appointed with custom wood and leather booths, banquettes and tables.     We hadn’t been in quite a long time. It was very crowded for Mother’s Day. The food was really good and our server was very attentive and kind.

    We went after church and didn’t have to wait at all! Our waitress was attentive and the service was great. The food came out hot and delicious. My only concern was the noticeable dust on the light fixtures—definitely could use some high dusting. Overall, you really can’t go wrong with this location!

    The restaurant was not busy, thus no waiting to be seated. We were a party of five. We had a lovely server, Lynn. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The kitchen was slightly slow with their preparation. Overall, it was a good experience and enjoyable for our family.
