Welcome to Green Point, a deep dive into the coastal culture of Cape Town. Brought to you by hospitality company Katz Bros. LLC, the same minds behind Beverley’s and Clifton Club, Green Point is a continuation of its love letter to the South African sea city. Open daily for lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch, Green Point is named after the beachside neighborhood that the Katz’s brother’s grandparents Rhoda and Oscar lived in. The brother’s version of a modern seafood brasserie, it’s chic, but unfussy. Smart, but with good humor. Green Point is a celebration of hospitality, a spirited space that hums with busyness but encourages guests to sit unhurried and enjoy the atmosphere. Highlights include a raw bar serving shellfish, crudos, tartares, ceviches and a rotation of cocktail oysters sourced from the East Coast and the Gulf, as well as a 20-seat bar meant for lingering over ice cold martinis, cocktails and Champagne.

Martinis After DarkOnce the sun drops, the bar takes shape. Classic cocktails pour, seating stays close, and the fireplace lounge sets the tone. Music carries the night forward without taking it over. Open until midnight, it’s a place for good talks, good times, and nights that don’t rush the ending. Reservations are not required for Idle Hour Social Club. Guests are welcome to visit the bar on a walk-in basis. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    We have an amazing experience every time we come here but last night was over the top amazing. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had requested a specific table and they had no problem accommodating that. However, there was a party that had been at the table for hours and they couldn’t have guessed they would be there that long. So they said we could wait or just go to a different table. And we were totally fine with that. Fast forward and they tell us that they’re taking care of our appetizer because they were grateful for how flexible we were. We got the “good guest” special. Caroline, our waitress, was absolutely phenomenal!! Give that girl a raise 😝 The best and most perfect evening to celebrate our special day. Thank you to everyone at Lovers Seafood!!

    Hudson House never misses! I’ve never had a bad experience at this place or any of the other restaurants. I introduced my friend to it in September and he’s been at least 3 times since then.

    Highly recommend! The service was great and staff were all helpful and chipper! The food was even better if that’s possible. Oysters, ceviche, shrimp, and the seafood salad were all so delicious! Not to mention the coldest martini around. What a great experience.
