Due to the abundance of fruits in Lebanon year round, households convert excess produce into jams that they end up using and sharing with neighbors, friends, and family members. We find that this unspoken ritual of showing affection through jam jars was the perfect means to bring our vision to life. We take our well being seriously and we truly believe you are what you eat. We take this to heart at Jamjar and everything we put on the table is fresh, free of preservatives and prepared daily from products sourced through local suppliers and growers.     Had dinner here last night and was honestly surprised by how good it was. The flavours really stood out. I had the chicken with barberries, and the combination of the saffron, the tart barberries, and the crispy rice was excellent. Even the bread and dip to start were great. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and well thought out. It is a small, warm spot on West 4th, and the service was lovely. I will definitely be back.
