Malin is a small neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Rathdowne Village, Carlton North. Set in an 1880s property on the corner of Curtain and Rathdowne streets, the site has been renovated to honour the heritage of the building.     Very nice menu with lots of options. We tried the chef’s feed me option, and devoured every plate. The young french server made our experience even better and was very fun & hospitable.

    Food and service was out of this world. The pumpkin gnocchi, in a French/ Japanese restaurant, was the best I have ever eaten. The Bansho oysters were fantastic. Together with the scallops. Drink prices reasonable, but not a cheap night out.
