Welcome to Cress Restaurant, a farm-to-table style restaurant in historic, DeLand, FL. We are honored to be named a 2025 DiRoNA Award recipient and to receive the 2025 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Serving lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, Cress welcomes guests with classic hospitality and comfortably creative cuisine. Chef Tom Brandt works closely with his culinary team to create dishes with globally inspired flavors, locally grown produce and sustainable seafood. A former James Beard Smart Catch Leader, Cress continues to ensure sustainable seafood is served relying on the Monterray Bay Aquarium's "Seafood Watch" as a guide. Chef Tom Personally picks and selects produce weekly from area farms including Tomazin Farms and Vo-LaSalle Farm. Though not all produce can be sourced locally, we love to use these premium ingredients.Our small menu has something for everyone including USDA Prime Steaks, Lamb, Game Meats and even a burger and local fish sandwich.Enjoy!

We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list. The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways.
