Very good Sunday roast very generous portions, excellent service. The venison carpaccio starter was superb. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

An outstanding experience at Lury Hastings! Twelve courses of amazing food with a Sri Lankan twist. Each course was imaginative and presented beautifully. The service was exceptional - each dish explained in detail and served on beautiful pottery locally made. Great wines to compliment the food. We have eaten at many wonderful restaurants over the years and this one has to be the top of my list. Jack Lury deserves a Michelin star.. and I’m sure he will get it soon! Don’t hesitate just book! Third visit in as many months and not disappointed with the Sunday lunch and options. Well worth a try for getting together with friends for lunch in a relaxed atmosphere

Very pleasant ambiance in a tastefully modernised older building. Excellent cuisine from an interesting menu - the set menu in particular was well designed and good value. Service was prompt and attentive but discreet. Very limited parking in the immediate vicinity, but worth the effort!
