We visited as part of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week … the place is beautiful, the staff was professional and friendly and the food was delicious. (Generous portions as well!). We look forward to a return visit!

The Shannon Rose is one of my favorite places. I enjoy the mix of Irish fare and pub food, and their bartenders are great - especially when you order a cocktail that’s not on the menu. The menu is also refreshed regularly; on this occasion, I went to try Joan’s Meatloaf and it was delicious. The hint of truffle was superb, just enough to appreciate and not overpower.

Lovely restaurant in great setting! Traditional French decor. Beautiful place settings. Waiter (the only staff seen all evening) was exceptional. Timing, recommendations, presentation, clearing all superb. So much for the details. The food was terrific and decently priced for a quality, upscale menu. In addition to the standard day's menu we were offered as specials 1 additional appetizer and 5 entrees. ( We were too full to consider or observe the dessert menu. I had chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms, cheese and more. MY wife had crab stuffed Sole. Onion soup was dreamy and yellow beet salad couldn't be beaten ABSOLUTELY DO EAT HERE!!!!!

We always enjoy dinner at Yard House. I love the Gardein chicken sandwich.
