Tucked into the heart of Witham, The George is more than just a pub to us, it’s a place we’re incredibly proud to call our home. As a family-run pub, we’ve poured our time, energy, and passion into creating a place where everyone feels welcome. For us, it’s about more than just serving food and drink; it’s about building a space where friends, families, and the local community can come together, relax, and enjoy themselves. At the heart of everything we do is a real passion for quality food. We take pride in serving dishes that are honest, full of flavour, and made with care. We focus on using quality ingredients and making sure every plate that leaves our kitchen is something we’d be proud to serve to our own family. For us, The George is about creating something lasting – a proper local pub where good food, good company, and a warm atmosphere come together. We’re proud to be part of the Witham community and look forward to welcoming you in.
